Our services

How can we help you?

We believe that care matters and therefore we are committed to providing the highest quality care to our customers at all times.

Respite Services

LHS Care’s respite care provides pre-planned short term placements for young people. The length and timing of the arrangement varies according to the specific needs of the young person and their family or placing authority.

Respite care is also provided to young people needing some intensive support during crisis to avoid a breakdown in their current placement.

Young people are given the time, space and support to regain control and are involved in many outdoor activities, workshops and groups to keep them engaged.

LHS Care can arrange respite on a one-off or regular basis. This is usually arranged on a planned basis but we will consider placements in an emergency.

Personal Care

Having a physical disability should not prevent you from leading a full and active life where you are involved in your local community. Enjoying a life that is purposeful and meaningful is equally important to us all.

We recognise each person as an individual with different interests and aspirations. By focusing on your unique strengths and abilities, we can support you to achieve your personal goals.

Choosing LHS Care means care and support to:

  • Manage your responsibilities – go to work and keep on top of day-to-day living tasks
  • Keep connected – meet friends and family,go to school, college or clubs, pursue a favourite hobby.

Training

We provide outstanding training for nurses, support workers and health care workers through our partner company that is accredited and nationally recognised. All our training is delivered by practicing health and social care professionals who understand the challenges faced by front line staff. As part of our induction process, we ensure that applicants are competent and confident in delivering the care required of them. Subjects include:

  • Awareness of mental health, dementia and learning disability
  • Basic Life support and Immediate Life Support
